Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information Amazeballs Websites ("we", "us") collects when you use our website or get in touch, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We keep this as short and clear as we can.
Who we are
Amazeballs Websites is a small website design service. For any questions about your data, or to make any of the requests below, please use the contact form on our website or message us on WhatsApp at +44 7365 939378. We are the "data controller" for the information described here.
What we collect, and why
- When you contact us (through the form on our site or WhatsApp): your name, email address and whatever you tell us about your business. We use this only to reply to you and discuss your project. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
- When you browse the site: with your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people find and use our site (for example which pages are popular). This uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser, and the pages you visit. Your IP address is anonymised. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can give or refuse using our cookie banner and change at any time.
- Basic server logs: our hosting provider automatically records limited technical data (such as IP address and request time) to keep the site secure and running. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in the security and reliability of the site.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site, and only share what is needed for them to do their job:
- Formspree processes submissions from our contact form and delivers them to us.
- Google Analytics provides our website usage statistics (only if you accept analytics cookies).
- Vercel hosts the website.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that is the case, they rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages for as long as we are in contact about a possible or actual project, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Analytics data is retained in line with Google Analytics' settings. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies that remember your cookie choice. These are always on because the site needs them.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that only load if you accept them. You can decline these, and the site will work exactly the same.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will bring the cookie banner back.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. To exercise any of these, just get in touch using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
